My bio here was horrible before so I'm going to attempt to fix it a little.

My name is Kelley. I'm from Kansas City, MO and I hate it... I don't plan on moving back after school. I'm 20, I'm in college, and I'm going to nursing school. I've loved medicine forever and just learning in general. Yes, I'm one of those people that love school... I'm so weird, I know. My friends are priority number one, mainly because they're my family. My actual family situation kind of sucks and I only really get along with my mom. My parents got divorced when I was a freshman in high school and my dad married a woman who I refer to in my journal as Satan. Yeah, we get along FAMOUSLY as you can tell ;) I'm an only child... well, except for the fact that my dad and step-mom adopted this kid so I guess I'm technically not. But whatever. I also work in an Alzheimer's unit as a CNA and I absolutely LOVE it. Even on the worst days, I still go home feeling amazing.

For those who love Grey's Anatomy as much as I do, I often refer to myself as being like Meredith Grey with a hint of Cristina and Addison. And then a hidden Izzie side of me that only comes out at work. Meredith and I have a lot of the same issues, so to speak... particularly with family and abandonment issues. I feel like I relate the most to her. I don't think I'm as whiney as she is though. At least I hope I'm not. Cristina and I both are very blunt, callous, and just plain mean sometimes. I think I have the same sort of sense of humor as Addison and the same kind of drive and confidence. And my Izzie compassionate side rarely ever sees the light of day, but I do notice myself acting a lot like her when I'm around my patients at work. It's hard not to for some reason.

I like going out to parties and yes, I drink, but I don't really discuss it in my journal unless it pertains to a story. I hate reading about that sort of stuff as much as the next person so I try not to include it in my own journal. I love football, doing things to my hair (I dye it, trim it, curl it, straighten it...), shopping, reading medical articles :[, MUSIC, discussing politics, baking delicious desserts, and just hanging out with my room mates (my two best friends). Oh and watching Grey's Anatomy constantly.
